dc.descriptionLa presente investigación aborda en un primer momento los modelos pedagógicos aplicados en la carrera de Administración Turística por la Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores, La Universidad de Oriente y La Universidad del Azuay, donde a su vez se propone compararlos con el modelo el aprendizaje experiencial bajo la teoría de David Kolb. Esto, con el fin de analizar si existen elementos de este modelo incluidos en los actuales programas educativos. Lo anterior, se desarrolla porque en la actualidad es importante que el estudiante adquiera competencias actitudinales y aptitudinales, de manera que su formación académica esté fundamentada en modelos pedagógicos que promuevan el desempeño de estas habilidades, reconociendo que el sector turístico es uno los pilares que mueve la economía actualmente a nivel mundial. Es por eso, que se integra en esta investigación el modelo de aprendizaje experiencial de David Kolb, siendo este uno de los modelos educativos que fomenta la enseñanza a través de la práctica, el cual indica que "el aprendizaje es un proceso mediante el cual el conocimiento se crea a través de la transformación de la experiencia" (Kolb, 1984). Esta investigación está dividida en tres fases: La primera, hace referencia a una revisión bibliográfica donde se establecen temas generales y se recopila información necesaria para sustentar la teoría. La siguiente, está basada en el desarrollo de la metodología donde se busca establecer los elementos de la teoría de aprendizaje experiencial ya existentes, además se indaga la percepción de estudiantes y docentes, para finalizar se comparan los elementos encontrados de cada modelo pedagógico. La metodología tendrá un enfoque explicativo, con la intención de acercarse al problema, indagar las causas del mismo y obtener distintos puntos de vista. Finalmente, se analizan los resultados obtenidos y se determinan conclusiones.spa
dc.description.abstractThe present investigation deals at first with the models pedagogical applied in the career of Tourism Administration by the Foundation University Los Libertadores, The University of Oriente and The University of Azuay, where in turn it is proposed to compare them with the experiential learning model under David Kolb's theory. This, in order to analyze if there are elements of this model included in current educational programs. The foregoing is developed because it is currently important that the student acquire attitudinal and aptitude skills, so that their training education is based on pedagogical models that promote the performance of these skills, recognizing that the tourism sector is one of the pillars that moves the world economy today. For this reason, it is included in this research David Kolb's experiential learning model, this being one of the models education that encourages teaching through practice, which indicates that "the Learning is a process by which knowledge is created through the transformation of experience" (Kolb, 1984). This research is divided into three phases: The first refers to a bibliographic review where general topics are established and information is collected necessary to support the theory. The following is based on the development of the methodology where it is sought to establish the elements of the learning theory already existing experiential, in addition the perception of students and teachers is investigated, Finally, the elements found in each pedagogical model are compared. The methodology will have an explanatory approach, with the intention of approaching the problem, investigate the causes of it and obtain different points of view.
