- ÍtemAnálisis de suelos por medio de fotogrametría con aeronaves no tripuladas para realizar operaciones militares(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Torres Valencia, Hernán Darío; Orduy Rodríguez, Jaime Enrique; Lozano Tafur, Cristian (Codirector)The soil is made up of several elements among which are minerals, organic matter, organisms, air and water and this is formed due to different factors such as erosion and decomposition by microorganisms, these elements can be identified by means of analysis of variables such as temperature. The analysis that is carried out on the soils constitutes a process for the acquisition of data and relevant information on its composition and main characteristics, in order to identify the type of soil that exists in the field and in several cases provide detailed information about this same. On the other hand, the quality of the terrain is an important factor that can significantly affect the success of military operations. In many cases, the site where these special operations take place may have unique characteristics. In Colombia, these operations are carried out in swamps, dense forests or mountainous areas, which can affect the ability of troops to move efficiently, as well as reduce the maneuverability of weapons and the functionality of vehicles. Therefore, carrying out a detailed analysis of the soil can help the Military Forces to better understand the terrain in which they operate and make decisions, in addition to knowing the presence of antipersonnel mines. For this reason, the objective of soil analysis is the optimization of military resources in addition to time; for assertive decision making. A method for the analysis of the terrain through unmanned aircraft systems and aerial photography is presented, making a comparison of variables and images that will help this decision making for its future implementation in Colombian troops.
- ÍtemInspección de areas de movimiento de un aeródromo con sistemas UAS en armonía con recomendaciones de la OACI(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Morales Infante, Daniel Felipe; Ardila Marulanda, George Mauricio; Lozano Tafur, CristianThis document aims to propose a methodology approach to perform level 1 and 2 inspections of the movement areas of civil and military aerodromes using Unmanned Aerial Systems, based on the recommendations provided by the Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), to reduce the execution time of the procedures following conventional methods. Therefore, test flights of the DJI Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced quadcopters were performed, showing the difference between the camera angles, flight altitude, photos, and videos taken with RGB and Thermal cameras, including the documents DOC9981 Procedures for Air Navigation Services and Document DOC9137 Airport Operational Services. The test took place on the runway of the Major Justino Mariño Cuesto Air Base assigned to the Air Maintenance Command (CAMAN) of the Colombian Air Force (FAC) located in Madrid, Cundinamarca. Finally, the procedures, calculations, results obtained, graphs, and their respective analysis were present.
