He study focused on 20 children with aggressive behaviors towards their peers, which affected their relationships and environment school. To address this problem, an educational intervention project focused on strengthening the self-concept of these students through artistic activities such as dance, drawing and painting to improve the self-perception, self-image and self-esteem. It was found that those with a negative self-concept tend to be less assertive and avoid challenges due to a lack of confidence in their abilities. Students with a positive self-concept tend to feel more motivated and confident when facing challenges and risks. According to Rogers' perspective, self-concept is the perception and assessment of oneself, and congruence between self-concept and lived experience is essential to developing positive self-esteem. The methodology was based on mediation pedagogy with a qualitative approach. A post-test evaluated the influence of artistic activities and the exploration of emotions in the students' lives. As a result, 13 of the 20 students showed receptivity and a new perspective on the world and their environment. In addition, frustration and violent behaviors that affected school relationships were reduced. This study highlights the importance of self-concept in behavior and academic performance.
