Sede Bogotá., ) Hincapié Arias, Mary Eugenia; Londoño Castaño, Angelina; Marín Cárdenas, Laura Alejandra; Chicangana López, ArmandoHuman development is divided into different stages according to Papalia, Feldman and Martorrell (2012), but it is during childhood that a greater reception of information occurs, being an opportune stage to potentiate personal skills and abilities. Starting from the presence of emotions throughout life, it is necessary to develop prevention programs from the field of psychology that allow emotional knowledge, and with this, a regulation of emotions that facilitate coping with unexpected situations or difficult of the common social, whether in personal, family, social or educational contexts. In the corregimiento of Barcelona, Calarcá - Quindío, the San Bernardo Educational Institution is located, a public entity that has a coexistence manual where the agreements and regulations of the educational community are specified and, at the same time, allows collective construction some classroom pacts to show compliance with these. There are even disciplinary commitment minutes completed by classroom teachers. All of the aforementioned are tools that create an ideal of values and behaviors, but not a guideline for handling in conflict situations (I.E. San Bernardo, 2022). Through the activation of an action research with the Fourth "D" grade of the institution, it seeks to enrich the compliance of the coexistence manual by the students, due to the presence of problems among them as a result of the difficulties in managing their emotions. For this reason and as a significant contribution, this project has as its object the recognition and regulation of basic emotions (joy, sadness, fear, anger and disgust) by the students of the Fourth grade "D", where through abstract painting and body expression, it is possible to positively impact their classroom pact.
