- ÍtemDescubriendo habilidades para el proceso de la lectura y la escritura por medio del arte, en grado primero del IED Manuel Cepeda Vargas.(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Acosta Centeno, Sandra Yurany; Tacán Arteaga, Mary Argenis; Tafur Verdugo, Nubia Stella; Chicangana López, ArmandoThe objective of this project is to design a methodological strategy that contributes to the reading and writing process of first grade students at IED Manuel Cepeda Vargas. As elementary school teachers, we have faced the great challenge of motivating students and helping them to obtain reading and writing skills, which are fundamental for the acquisition of other knowledge. Therefore, it has been important to change or improve the didactic and methodological strategies that are implemented in the classroom, generating new strategies for children to learn in a pleasant way, reducing the possibility of frustration, loss of year or school dropout. To achieve this objective, a new didactic and methodological strategy was designed and implemented based on the fine arts (dance, theater and music) as a creative, dynamic and expressive tool, which will be implemented in students who presented greater difficulty in this learning process. In this way, these three art forms became the main motivational and learning means to strengthen the processes and skills for the acquisition of reading and writing. As a final result, the children were motivated and interested in reading and writing, and finally, with the ability to create their own stories. The qualitative approach used in this project allowed us to obtain detailed information about the children's experiences and perceptions, which allowed us to design an educational proposal that would be adapted to their individual needs and capacities. At the end of this proposal, the children participating in the implementation of the proposal obtained real learning, demonstrating their acquired skills and abilities.
