dc.description.abstractEl propósito de esta investigación es potenciar el aprendizaje significativo de la historiadedlas calles y monumentos de Cartagena en los estudiantes de octavo grado de la InstituciónEducativa "Playas de Acapulco". Se propende hacia el desarrollo y aplicación de estrategias pedagógicas como el teatro y la cuentería para apropiarse de la identidad cultural en mejora continua de carácter cognitivo sobre la temática y la resignificación histórica. En el desarrollodeesta investigación, se identificaron dificultades como el escaso conocimiento de los estudiantessobre el origen y la historia de las principales calles y monumentos de Cartagena; el pocointerésen aprender sobre estos temas y el escaso sentido de pertenencia hacia su ciudad. Estas problemáticas se identificaron mediante una prueba inicial, encuesta, entrevista semiestructuradaque se le aplicaron a los estudiantes sobre el tema, lo cual subrayó la necesidad de crear unapropuesta pedagógica para subsanar la necesidad académica y de identidad. La metodologíaempleada fue investigación-acción, centrada en el estudio y solución deproblemas sociales específicos que afectan a determinados grupos. El enfoque seleccionado es el cualitativo ya queseviabilizó una aproximación conceptual en comprensión hacia las dificultades en el conocimientode la historia de las calles y monumentos de Cartagena. Se destacó la importancia de las estrategias pedagógicas innovadoras en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, específicamente el uso del teatro y la cuentería como herramientas efectivas para mejorar la adquisición y fijacióndel conocimiento. Los resultados demuestran un impacto positivo y significativo a corto plazoenla comprensión y fijación de la memoria histórica de la ciudad de Cartagena de Indias comodistrito turístico internacional, lo que sugiere un efecto duradero a mediano y largo plazo.spa
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research is to enhance the meaningful learning of the history of thestreets and monuments of Cartagena in the Year 8 students of the Educational Institution"Playasde Acapulco". It tends towards the development and application of pedagogical strategies suchastheatre and storytelling to appropriate cultural identity in continuous cognitive improvement onthe subject and historical resignification. In the development of this research, difficulties wereidentified such as the students' limited knowledge of the origin and history of the main streets and monuments of Cartagena; the little interest in learning about these topics, and the lackof asense of belonging to their city. These problems were identified through an initial test, survey, and semi-structured interview that were applied to the students on the subject, which underscoredthe need to create a pedagogical proposal to meet the academic and identity needs. The methodology used was action research, focused on the study and solution of specific social problems that affect certain groups. The selected approach is qualitative since a conceptual approach to understanding the difficulties in the knowledge of the history of the streets andmonuments of Cartagena was made viable. The importance of innovative pedagogical strategiesin the teaching-learning process was highlighted, specifically the use of theater and storytellingas effective tools to improve the acquisition and fixation of knowledge. The results demonstratea positive and significant impact in the short term on the understanding and fixation of the historical memory of Cartagena de Indias as an international tourist district, which suggests alasting effect in the medium and long term.eng
