dc.description.abstractEl objetivo de esta investigación es hacer una reflexión crítica sobre el desarrollo histórico del campo de estudio de la psicología del trabajo y de las organizaciones en Colombia, que permita hacer un balance de los aportes teóricos, conceptuales, metodológicos e instrumentales, que sedieron desde sus inicios en 1948 hasta el día de hoy. El método histórico, a partir de la revisión documental permite la construcción y reconstrucción de la disciplina desde su interior. Los resultados muestran la configuración de una perspectiva instrumentalista de psicología que responde de manera reactiva a las exigencias del sector empresarial del momento. Las conclusiones evidencian que la psicología del trabajo de las organizaciones en nuestro país es más importante por lo que hace que por lo que es y que la identidad del profesional, en esta campo particular del conocimiento se configura alrededor de lo que hace cuando supuestamente aplica los conocimientos de la psicología para resolver los problemas de la productividad humana en forma eficaz.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThe purpose of this research is to critically reflect on the historical development of the field of study of the psychology of work and organizations in Colombia, which allows taking stock of the theoretical, conceptual, methodological and instrumental contributions that occurred from its inception in 1948 until today. The historical method from the literature review allows the construction and reconstruction of discipline from within. The results show the configuration of an instrumentalist perspective of psychology reactively responding to the demands of the business sector of the moment.
