dc.descriptionEsta investigación se centra en la formación socioemocional y su trascendencia en el proceso educativo de la niñez, la adolescencia y la juventud. Debido a su importancia, hay interés en hacer un análisis de la perspectiva que tienen los docentes colombianos sobre el trabajo en formación socioemocional que se desarrolla en las instituciones educativas donde laboran. Para lograrlo, se abordó desde un enfoque cualitativo de investigación descriptiva con la aplicación de un cuestionario-entrevista escrita online como instrumento para recolectar los datos. Así, hallazgo como el que apunta a que la formación socioemocional se ha venido orientando de manera no sistemática, propició afirmar la necesidad de equilibrar la formación cognitiva, que se brinda a los menores, y la formación socioemocional, por su relevancia en la sana relación que toda persona debe entablar consigo misma y con los demás, y que empieza desde la comprensión y manejo de las emociones tanto propias como ajenas. Entre las conclusiones se mencionó que esta dimensión debe trabajarse desde un currículo oficial para que, estructuradamente, se responda a las necesidades del aula y se asegure el funcionamiento ininterrumpido y sistemático de los procesos en las instituciones educativas, en beneficio del desarrollo emocional del estudiantado y de los docentes, en pos de una convivencia en la escuela estable y pacífica. dc.description.abstractThis research focuses on the socio-emotional formation and its importance in the educational process of children, adolescents, and youth. Because of its importance, there is interest in analyzing the perspective that Colombian teachers have on the work in the socio-emotional formation that takes place in the educational institutions where they work. To achieve this, this research is approached from a qualitative approach of descriptive research with the implementation of a questionnaire-interview written online as a tool to collect data. Thus, findings such as the one that suggests that the socio-emotional formation has been oriented in a non-systematic way, encouraged the affirmation of the need to balance cognitive formation, which is offered to children, and the socio-emotional formation, because of its importance in the healthy relationship that every person must establish with themselves and with others which begins from the understanding and management of their own and others' emotions. Among the conclusions was mentioned that this dimension must be worked from an official curriculum so that, the needs of the classroom must be addressed in a structured way and the processes in educational institutions, must operate continuously and systematically to the benefit of the emotional development of students and teachers, for stable and peaceful school life.spa
