- ÍtemAnálisis de los factores que inciden en la disminución de la mortalidad infantil de niños de cero a cinco años en los países que hacen parte de la Alianza del Pacífico período (2005-2015).Contreras Ortiz, Daniel Sebastián; Rodríguez López, Mónica del Pilar; Forigua Parra, John EdwardThe agreement to comply with the so-called Millennium Development Goals and the entry of Colombia into the Pacific Alliance together with Chile, Mexico and Peru; become the key elements for the development of this document that proposes to analyze the effects of the creation of this alliance in the reduction of infant mortality of children between zero and five years. This will be done through a panel data analysis for the four countries mentioned, having as an exogenous variable the infant mortality of children between 0 and 5 years old (one of the millennium objectives) and as explanatory variables some of the macroeconomic and social elements of the four countries as they are: the Gross Domestic Product GDP, the Public Social Expenditure, the Real Average Salary, the percentage of women in the Economically Active Population, the Prevalence of malnutrition and the income of the countries in the Pacific Alliance. Finally, recommendations and policy conclusions for Colombia are presented that allow the reduction of infant mortality within the framework of the variables analyzed and the signing of new trade agreements.
- ÍtemAnálisis demográfico sobre el riesgo de longevidad de hombres y mujeres en Colombia 1950-2018Gomez Moreno, Gustavo Adolfo; Forigua Parra, John Edward; Castro Montana, Jhonn Edgar; Romero Ospina, Manuel FranciscoIncreasing longevity, which is commonly measured as the increase in life expectancy at the age of birth or retirement, is a challenge for all societies worldwide. The main objective of this article is to make available the stochastic mortality projections for Colombia for the period 1950-2018, using the Lee-Carter Model. The most used and influential stochastic method in recent years, both in the actuarial and demographic context. In addition to presenting and applying it, the mortality rates in Colombia for the mentioned period are predicted using the statistical software R, the ilc package which contains methods to analyze 6 different types of log-linear models within the GLM framework, such as Poisson errors including the basic Lee-Carter model. Once the parameters of the LC Model 𝛼𝑥, 𝐾𝑡 𝑦 𝐵𝑋 have been estimated, the Mortality index 𝐾𝑡 is taken. From this index the behavior of mortality is projected using the classic Box & Jenkins time series model. Finally, a brief description is made of the estimates obtained and the impact that these may have on the Colombian population in areas as important as employment, pension and health, among others.
- ÍtemBajo peso y sobre peso en neonatos a término en el departamento del Meta y su relación con características de los padres(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Duran Romero, Maria Alexandra;; Forigua Parra, John EdwardThe main objective of this research is to identify the biological and sociodemographic characteristics of the parents, which determine the low weight and overweight at birth in term infants in the department of the goal in the period 2012-2015. From the data of 58,062 live birth records from 2012 to 2015, a descriptive analysis of the biological, social, demographic and health care variables related to the mother, the father and the newborn was performed, hypothesis tests of independence, calculation of OR and the elaboration of logistic regression models to explain which are associated with the respective tests. As a result, it is observed that the low birth weight varied between 2.01 and 2.5% in the analyzed period, lower than the national data and overweight was between 6.1 and 6.9%, which is lower than some International reports The tendency was to remain constant in the analyzed period, being presented in the 29 municipalities of the department but with more unfavorable results only in 34.5% of them. For the low weight, of the 9 variables analyzed, 5 presented association and are: female sex of the newborn (OR = 1.28), multiple pregnancy (OR = 26.29), age of the mother (OR = 1.42) , mother with no ability to pay (OR = 1.19) and father at risk age (OR = 1.45) showed association. For overweight, of the 8 variables analyzed, 3 presented association and are: the male sex of the newborn (OR = 1.90), mother over 30 years (OR = 1.42), five or more children (OR = 1 , 46) Female. The investigation allows us to conclude that some characteristics of the mother such as age, multiparity, ability to pay, female sex in the newborn, multiple pregnancy and the father at risk age are associated with the BPN. Similarly, overweight at birth, is related to male sex of the newborn, mother over 30 years and with five or more children

- ÍtemEstrategia pedagógica para crear conciencia ambiental frente al cambio climático en la IE Santa Rosa de la Caña, Municipio de Los Córdobas(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Navarro de la Rosa, Jorge Andrés; Salazar Castaño, Claudia Patricia; Gómez Meneses, Alexander; Forigua Parra, John Edward; Romero Ospina, Manuel FranciscoOne of the difficulties identified in students against the care of the environment has to do with environmental awareness, problem that arises from the recognition of the causes and consequences, as well as the position with which climate change should be assumed in your region. For this reason, this research project proposes the design and implementation of a pedagogical strategy based on meaningful learning and project-based learning to favor the development of environmental practices that favor the mitigation of the effects of climate change, in the educational community of I.E. Santa Rosa de la Caña. The implementation of the pedagogical proposal was carried out in four phases that included various workshops, which genera ted an adequate context to promote the autonomy of students to address situations of the environment in which they live, allowing them to apply the learning acquired. All the information collection and the analysis of the results obtained from the implementation of the strategy was carried out through mixed type research with a descriptive approach from a design (How-which) with quantitative preponderance, concluding that the incidence was productive. In the degree of environmental awareness of the Students.
- ÍtemEstrategias Metodológicas para el Fortalecimiento de la Comprensión Lectora en los Estudiantes de Quinto Grado I. E. M. A Sede Sor María Luisa Molina(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Lenis Ibarguen, Víctor David; Palacios Rivas, Diana Luisa; Forigua Parra, John EdwardHistorically, reading comprehension has been based since the 1920s, being the pioneer in this subject Huey (1908), different behaviorist authors of the time considered that reading comprehension consisted in verbalizing the ideas of the author of the text, until the 1960s and 1970s, professionals in the field considered it as a decoding process where teachers posed questions in a literal way and it was not necessary to make inferences or critical analysis of the text. In this sense, teaching reading and writing has always been a priority in education, since they are essential linguistic skills to perform actively in society, but reading comprehension processes cannot be left aside, since the diversity of information that reaches students with different intentions, as a result of the increase of new technologies, makes it necessary for them to be able to understand different types of texts and at the same time be critical of them. That is why one of the main objectives of this research is to implement methodological strategies that help students' reading comprehension inside and outside the classroom. In this order of ideas, inferences and hypotheses can strengthen reading comprehension. hypotheses can strengthen reading comprehension, so that students can develop their previous knowledge with what they are learning. knowledge with the knowledge they are learning, since it will allow them to learn from everyday situations in their academic everyday situations in their academic and social environment.

- ÍtemFortalecimiento de la convivencia escolar apoyada por el blog como herramienta tecnológica(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Mosquera Palacios, Evernis; Mosquera Palacios, Yola Estuar; Roncancio Torres, David Martín; Forigua Parra, John EdwardWith the development of the project, strengthening school coexistence supported by the blog as a technological tool, it seeks to contribute to improving different environments where students develop, especially in the educational context. This investigative process was implemented in the Guanegro Educational Institution of the Municipality of Puerto Boyaca, targeting the sites (El Pescado, Pavitas and Alto Guaguaqui), of the third, fourth and fifth grades; Where it was possible to identify that the students of this community have shortcomings when interacting with their classmates, on many occasions the children in their free time show some conflicts such as physical and verbal abuse; They attack, threaten, insult each other and give each other nicknames, violating the rules of the institution's coexistence manual, generating problems of indiscipline and poor academic performance. Therefore, a solution was sought through pedagogical strategies aimed at strengthening the values supported by the Blog technological tool, through which the students interacted and shared experiences that allowed the appropriation of content, improving personal and interpersonal relationships during the development of the proposed activities. And finally, since the pre-test research process began, I set the route of attention to the students because
- ÍtemFortalecimiento de valores éticos en el actuar de estudiantes del grado 10º en dos instituciones educativas públicas de Medellín, a través del Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Franco Mona, Mónica; Londoño Hernández, María Gladys; Forigua Parra, John EdwardThe following paper presents the contributions taken from the behavioral difficulties of students from the Tenth-One and Tenth-Two classes of the educational institutions La Independencia and Rodrigo Arenas Betancur, as evidenced in the different school spaces. For this reason and through qualitative research, the behavioral problems of the students that motivated the present investigation are resolved through project-based learning. The descriptive qualitative method was chosen with a participatory approach for a population of 61 students in the Tenth-One and Tenth-Two groups of both educational institutions. Since it adjusts to the assessment of experiential processes of acting and the analysis of information supported by direct observation, as well as the subsequent interpretation of the results of the activities in the classroom, through the strengthening of ethical values as a transversal axis of the areas of Mathematics and School Religious Education. The intervention was developed applying the Project-Based Learning (PBL) strategy from the didactic sequence, which includes, in addition to the linking of the mentioned areas and their contents, a volitional component of the activities and strategies through an analysis of daily situations through reflection questions and practical application in both areas. In conclusion, a positive transformation was observed in the actions of the students who went from Tenth grade to Eleventh grade, both in the classroom and in other school spaces, that impacted interpersonal relationships, work in the classroom, and the construction of civility and conscience through the self-management of emotions; all this was achieved through the strengthening and experience of values. Therefore, the suggestion is that this project be adopted by the institution from a transversality perspective and that it serves as an experience for future interventions.

- ÍtemPrácticas pedagógicas para fortalecer el desarrollo de la adición y la sustracción en niños de 4-6 años en preescolar(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Parra Velásquez, Sandra Milena; Forigua Parra, John Edward; Ballesteros Ballesteros, Vladimir Alfonso (Codirector)One of the great concerns of human beings throughout history is to be able to optimize and generate greater knowledge in order to improve the quality of life of all members of a community. In our country, various strategies have been developed by the Ministry of National Education [MEN] in order to ensure that children and young people have quality education that allows them to meet their learning needs. When studying the guidelines and standards issued by the MEN, it can be seen that there is a shortcoming for the preschool level, since, although there are guidelines, these are not specific for the different dimensions that students develop, on the other hand, the curricular standards of the areas of knowledge are not designed from the preschool level. This is why one of the latent concerns in all educational establishments is to look for tools that allow improving the educational process of students at different levels, including preschool, at this level is where students begin to develop skills that will strengthen through the passage of time during their educational activity.
