dc.description.abstractLa actividad portuaria y logística ha jugado un papel trascendental para la competitividad de la economía, es una herramienta poderosa para aumentar los flujos del comercio entre las economías, lo cual repercute directamente en la productividad, competitividad y desarrollo económico de los países. En términos generales, el sector logístico portuario de la ciudad de Cartagena es una de las apuestas productivas más importantes para la economía local y nacional, por lo tanto, el mantenimiento de las empresas del sector y la consecución de sus estrategias para mantener esta ventaja competitiva son de vital importancia. Por ello, el objetivo de este artículo de reflexión está basado en el análisis de información secundaria para elaborar un esquema general del patrón de configuración estratégica que está emergiendo y desarrollándose en las empresas del sector logístico portuario que contribuya a la capacidad de creación y sostenibilidad en su ventaja competitiva, desde un punto de vista macroeconómico, Para ello, se siguió el Modelo de Competitividad de las Cinco Fuerzas de Porter. Los resultados están acompañados de datos positivos con respecto del aumento de las inversiones en infraestructura, además la ubicación estratégica del puerto ha permitido la conectividad con más de 600 puertos en 140 países; es potencialmente, el clúster logístico portuario más importante y estratégico de la Región Caribe.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThe port and logistics activity has played a transcendental role for the competitiveness of the economy, it is a powerful tool to increase the flows of trade between the economies, which directly affects the productivity, competitiveness and economic development of the countries. In general terms, the port logistic sector of the city of Cartagena is one of the most important productive bets for the local and national economy, therefore, the maintenance of the companies of the sector and the achievement of their strategies to maintain this competitive advantage they are of vital importance. Therefore, the objective of this article of reflection is based on the analysis of secondary information to elaborate a general outline of the pattern of strategic configuration that is emerging and developing in the companies of the port logistics sector that contributes to the capacity of creation and sustainability in its competitive advantage, from a macroeconomic point of view. For this, the Competitiveness Model of the Five Forces of Porter was followed. The results are accompanied by positive data regarding the increase in investments in infrastructure, in addition the strategic location of the port has allowed connectivity with more than 600 ports in 140 countries; it is potentially the most important and strategic port logistics cluster in the Caribbean Regionspa
