Nuevas Flores, San Diego Cesar, reflected in the low results they obtained in the internal tests and state tests, compared to the national results, which aims to determine the incidence of the implementation of a pedagogical strategy using digital texts to the development of reading comprehension, based on a quantitative approach, due to the fact that the data obtained are numerical and subjected to statistical studies; This has a quasi-experimental design, in which there is a control group and an experimental group made up of 30 students. This project presents the results of a comparative study between printed and digital texts applied to the students of the I.E Nuevas Flores. The results of the research show how students improve the reading comprehension process when using digital texts compared to those who use analog texts. Of the reading levels evaluated, the one that presents the most notable improvement compared to the use of digital texts is the inferential level, on the other hand, the literal level is indifferent to the medium used. In the entrance test, the entire population was in a basic performance and after applying the strategy, the students of digital texts went on to a high performance, while those of analog texts remained in the basic.
