- ÍtemEnseñanza por medio de los conocimientos ancestrales sobre reforestación en los nacederos de agua en la Institución Educativa Indígena Buscando Horizontes De Tierradentro Morales Cauca(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Vidal Camayo, Jeison; Pérez Benítez, Johan HernánThe protection of the environment today comprises an individual and collective effort where the reduction of the ecological footprint highlights the different challenges as a society capable of providing evoked solutions to improve the quality of life through a culture of environmental awareness capable to provide tools and solutions for the imbalance between consumption and nature. With this perspective, this research is a rigorous bibliographic study, based on the systematic review of scientific and research information in different repositories such as: Scopus, Dialnet, Scielo, Elsevier. The information related to the research focuses on the impact of deforestation from its etymological description, together with the effect that it generates in different ecosystems, since it is a harmful practice for forest and aquatic ecosystems. Therefore, the project analyzes from a macro context towards the specific monitoring of the community of Tierradentro Morales Cauca, an indigenous reservation of Honduras, through a work scheme for the selection of search criteria and proposal of strategies for the improvement of the environment based on the selection of plant species, both timbers, as a way of retaining water, flower and fruit plant species as a collective action to mitigate deforestation. In this way, based on the context of deforestation, it is analyzed from the perspective of the ancestral knowledge that still survives in the community of Tierradentro Morales Cauca indigenous reservation Honduras, rescuing ancestral knowledge as the basis for the creation of a protectionist culture of the environment. from the figure of the Nasa community.
