- ÍtemDiseño preliminar de una máquina termoformadora con tubo venturi como mecanismo generador de vacío(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Leiva Guerrero, Diana Marcela; Montoya Contreras, Julian Andres; Velasco Corredor, Raul Orlando; Zambrano, JeffersonIn recent years, thanks to the economic growth that Colombia presents, has generated a growing trend in almost all industries, including industry of the design, the manufacture of parts and components as well as products in different types of materials. The economic well-being and advancement of Technology has made processes more and more efficient and that guarantee lower costs, quality and good productivity. Taking into account the above, it is necessary that the machines and components of they offer high performance with affordable values and the cost benefit is inversely proportional. Machines are commonly used thermoformers that work by generating vacuum by means of a pump; a problematic found for the construction of pieces of larger size or use high-density materials the components of the machines that exist currently do not generate optimal results due to the pressure, power, size and the cycles with which they operate. With the preliminary design of a thermoforming machine with a Venturi tube as a vacuum generating mechanism, it is intended to solve this problem reducing maintenance costs, guaranteeing a continuous operation as well as the generation of a greater vacuum, which is important in the thermoforming process of large parts and elements, parts and components used not only in aviation but in all industries of the building. The project presented below arises within the development of the degree thesis to opt for the title of aeronautical engineers contextualizing the knowledge of engineering science and applying concepts and theories learned throughout the career developed at the University Foundation Los Libertadores, Bogota, Colombia.
