Sede Bogotá., ) Urrutia Bermúdez, Esteban; Gonzáles Veloza, Jose FredyIn the Colombian context, in criminal cases, the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation, through the Judicial Police, is obliged to verify the correct identification or identification of the accused or accused, through fingerprints, among other mechanisms, in order to prevent judicial errors. The Lofoscopy Group of the Technical Investigation Corps -CTI-, one of the Colombian judicial police, carries out this work under a quality management system based on the ISO 17020 standard, which requires evidence of the appropriate method. This document analyzes the concordance or intermediate precision of the method between the experts, through the correct proportions of each fingerprint, with regarding sample fashion. Desert proportions between 0.76 and 0.96 were determined, as well as 3 relationships that did not fulfilled the null hypothesis of agreement or intermediate precision, with a level of significance de = 0.05, which is indicative of opportunities for improvement in the method.
