Sede Bogotá., ) Tovar García, Olga Constanza; Nocua Sarmiento, Efraín AlonsoThe purpose of this work is to improve the teaching-learning process of taxonomic categories by designing a virtual OVA learning object as a methodological strategy that uses tools and technological applications such as exelearnig, Liverworksheets, lucidehart, educaplay, among others, for the contents and the various activities that the student will carry out to strengthen their learning in an interactive and meaningful way. The research approach is mixed, that is, qualitative and quantitative research since it allows a more complete investigation by complementing both approaches in the search for the understanding of concrete and complex realities. Research is action participation, known by the acronym IAP, which in the natural sciences allow to build new social and scientific knowledge susceptible to be converted into thematic axes in learning. At the end of this course, the ninth grade students of the Gonzalo Mejia Echeverry Educational Institution will be able to distinguish the taxonomic categories, know some scientific names of organisms that we use, cohabit and are in our environment and will internalize that our country is one of the most mega diverse that we must conserve and protect.
