Sede Bogotá., ) Sogamoso Tapiero, Natalia; Torres Perez, Paula Yuliana; Romero Duque, Gustavo AndrésLogistics is one of the decisive factors for the sustainability of a company, since it allows an increase in its competitiveness and cost reduction, achieving a permanence in the market, however, logistics requires structured planning both in infrastructure and methodology, The logistics chain must be rigorously evaluated in order to find improvements that lead to increased productivity. This research project addresses the problem of the logistics model and the methodology of the Enlistment and Dispatch areas of the Food Bank of Bogotá, to improve the satisfaction of its customers, the quality of its processes, eliminate reprocessing and reduce costs. made a diagnosis of the logistics chain managed, focusing on the areas of Enlistment, Dispatches and all external processes that affect it, through the use of the Ishikawa diagram, the causes and factors that were affected by the different areas of the process and thanks to the development of a flow chart it was possible to identify the breakdown of the process and the reprocesses that were being presented along with other operational observations that generated an increase in the times of both the dispatch area and the setup. After having detailed the diagnosis, a series of solutions was analyzed and generated that cover the critical points that were evidenced in the reception, enlistment and dispatch processes of the Food Bank, this in order to satisfy the problem and improve the processes, Similarly, it is important to mention that the analysis, performance measurement and other variables were carried out through the simulation of the process by means of the FlexSim software. For the development of the project, the technical and scientific knowledge of an industrial engineer was essential, since different techniques of time measurement, data analysis and observation were used to determine the best scenario for the Bogotá food bank. Finally, it is concluded that the proposed methodological solutions helped the food bank to improve coding and inventory recording issues.
