Sede Bogotá., ) Torres Barrera, Héctor Iván; Sánchez Rojas, César AugustoThe inadequate management of the basic operations with natural numbers of the sixth grade students of the Moralba South East IED School, day tomorrow, Fourth Locality of the city of Bogotá, due to different reasons such as lack of interest, demotivation, traditional learning received lack of strategies, tools and mechanical and boring practices, this added to the lack of accompaniment by parents, among others, has as a consequence the low academic results in internal and external tests, in learning in various subjects of sixth grade and beyond and in general in the lives of students, due to the repercussions that this entails. Therefore, this mathematical play proposal is presented to favor and strengthen the teaching of basic operations with natural numbers, where mathematical play is used in various ways as a valuable tool in the teaching-learning process, which contributes to the processes of human development as skills in teamwork, creativity, learning, respect, tolerance, socio-affective relationships, enjoyment, enjoyment, happiness, etc. The proposal called Motivating, Learning and Improving Basic Operations has three stages: the first one dedicated to varied numerical games for students to solve with pencil, eraser and paper; the second are board games adapted with basic operations, built by the students themselves, and the third, are challenges to be overcome in some interactive pages where students test their concentration and knowledge in mental calculation. Regarding the type of research, its approach is descriptive, being of a qualitative type, where there is intervention by the teacher. This project is framed in the Macro Line of Research in the Specialization of the Education Pedagogy of the Los Libertadores University Foundation in Pedagogy, Media and Mediations; in the line of the Faculty of Education Pedagogies, Didactics and Infants and in the Axis of Subjects in Didactics.
