The theoretical framework was raised in two main areas of reading and writing and pedagogical play. For the application of this pedagogical proposal, it was used as reference the application of surveys to students to parents of families, and to teachers in order to detect possible causes of the previous problem. The sample of study was realized to 36 students of the third degree of the Educational Institution Technical Institute headquarters Rafael Tello. It was possible to conclude that through the ludic strategies of learning the students were able to improve and use properly the reading and writing; Recognized the importance of this in everyday life and with greater relevance in school life. In the present work supported by a good theoretical reference, a series of activities are proposed to improve reading comprehension in students at the Rafael Tello campus. On the other hand, the ludic allows each student to learn according to their personal rhythm and responding to their interests and concerns, forming autonomous citizens who are situated within their personal context, but with sufficient training and information from other cultures and Ways of facing the world.
