Sede Bogotá., ) Soriano Arias, Blanca Isabel; Chitiva Rodríguez, Darío AlexanderThe present investigation work proposes a ludical method of learning within the area of Social Sciences, in order to highlight the dimension of cultural diversity in the school environment. The work was focused on the ninth grade students of the District Educational Institution San José Sur Oriental, in the city of Bogotá. The main point is to present a research, with a descriptive approach, that uses ludical strategies to observe and comprehend in a general way the conception of diversity that students have, and their relationship with culture in the school environment, which can reach other spheres such as their family and neighborhood. Through field observation, life stories and interviews with the students of the educational institution that participate in the research, a diagnosis is obtained that can make possible the fact of demonstrate their perception of cultural diversity and the knowledge of their roots, their history and their participation in society as active and proactive individuals. Starting from the diagnosis, a pedagogical route is established: The fruits of my diverse world. The activities are presented in four moments that symbolize the natural growth of a tree, which is also the metaphor of personal growth: roots, trunk, leaves and fruits, to end up in the moment of transformation, that is the harvested fruit to be returned and sowed and cultivated again, always in a greatest different fashion. Based on the ludic strategies of this pedagogical route, the present project allows to observe the commitment that students acquire concerning their roots, but also the consolidation of the school space as a possible place to be inhabited by All, starting from the unique singularity of each Individual.
