- ÍtemAnálisis de los factores que más influyen en la prevalencia del síndrome metabólico en población con enfermedad mental atendidos en la Clínica La Inmaculada de Bogotá D.C 2017(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Martin Vega, Javier; Soler Lozano, Diego Mauricio; Fonseca Gómez, Lida RubielaIn this grade work the anthropometric variables analyzed were: blood pressure, body mass index, abdominal perimeter, waist height index. The new method of analysis for the early detection of metabolic syndrome is based on decision trees created with CHAID methodology (automatic detection of interactions by chi- square). The anthropometric variables associated with the metabolic syndrome in the adjusted model were height, abdominal perimeter, body mass index, blood pressure and lipid profile. In conclusion, early detection of the metabolic syndrome in a healthy population is possible through non-invasive methods, based on the inclusion criteria determined. The proposed analysis method meets validity criteria and its use can be recommended for a better medical decision.
