Globalization and the reduction of geographical, social and cultural barriers mean that we are increasingly connected with people from different parts of the world and the preferred language to communicate is English. Most of the knowledge, scientific developments, technological products and entertainment platforms have their content in English, which is why students must leave with an intermediate level of understanding and interpretation in this language at the end of their secondary school according to the Ministry of Education. National Education, for this reason, it seeks to stimulate the teaching-learning process of English as a foreign language by making use of digital resources and virtual learning environments in the sixth grade of the students of the College for Children of Employees of the Comptroller General of the Republic where the level of English is basic. Students at this school age are people who handle different types of electronic devices well, which they use most of the time, in this way they seek to use educational digital resources for the teaching of English, taking advantage of the learning platform as it is the National Geographic platform to which you have access at the institution where this intervention project is being developed and the free creation programs to make a Learning Virtual Object in an exelearning program and work it as support material that provides content that deepens the subject of the Verb To be in which Sixth grade students have difficulty, all this taking into account the curriculum and Basic Learning Rights.
