The topic of healthy food is booming since the population has decided to choose to have a healthy and balanced diet, and it has been predicted that people will have more of an obsession with their health, and healthy, organic foods which generate great demand in Colombia, according to this quote “The second most notorious trend, corresponds to health as an obsessive topic. It is said that it is already a trend today and that it will be affirmed each year with more force, since the behaviors of the Colombians are changing little by little to eat balanced and to be healthy. In these times, people want a healthy, balanced, personalized, and economical meal but it is something that most vegetarian or healthy restaurants do not offer to the consumer, according to the interview conducted by the daily El Espectador. “Colombia has a growing market in healthy eating, there are many young people, millennials, generation Y, very active, who go for a walk, exercise, but what is needed is healthy food” (Corrin, 2015. In these moments, it can be said that there are several establishments of healthy foods but they are not so accessible, first for its cost, for the little recognition and in some cases, is because there isn’t enough variety of dishes; Thereby making the healthy food market boring and unobtrusive to the consumer. This is why a feasibility study is needed on the realization of a company responsible for developing and marketing products that are natural and healthy, based on how the market has evolved and how it has impacted Colombia – Bogota.
