Sede Bogotá., ) Romero Ninco, Adriana Rocio; Alonso Gonzalez, Julián AndresThe project Implementation of a School for Parents Mediated by OVA in the San Simón Educational Institution in San Andrés de Sotavento- Córdoba, addresses the need to create meeting spaces where parents are trained in topics to exercise their role, through the orientation and accompaniment of the Educational Institution to the pedagogical and formative work of the parents, generating a better academic performance of their children. This research was carried out under a qualitative and action research approach. The selected population corresponds to 15 5th grade parents of students with low academic performance and over age, from the Sagrado Corazón campus. In the first phase, a questionnaire was applied to investigate their preferences, obtaining results that show the need for training in topics such as study habits, sexual education, among others, in addition to interest in the development of the project. In the design phase of the proposal, the use of digital tools will be implemented in this case OVA, which are adequate since there is no connectivity. In phase 3, implementation, participatory workshops will be held, which will be published on the Institution's website, allowing access to the educational community in general. The pedagogical proposal concludes that there is a need to create the school for parents in the Institution, as a space for training, reflection and dialogue, from the use of digital tools, promoting the interest and motivation of parents to participate in the processes. academics, avoiding school dropout and repetition. In addition, it uses virtual tools, such as OVAs, which enrich the way of sharing knowledge, since it uses different resources, which allow the differences in learning to be reduced and make the parent school an innovative experience.
