Sede Bogotá., ) Arteaga Barrero, Paola Andrea; Rodríguez Barbosa, William Orlando; Vásquez Duarte, Tiody Marcela; Chicangana Lopez, ArmandoThe following educational intervention project seeks to promote drawing as an artistic instrument in first grade school initiation students between the ages of 5 and 6 of the José Celestino Mutis Rural School, in town 19 of Ciudad Bolívar, Bogotá, by through different strategies where, from drawing, girls and boys can strengthen socio-emotional skills such as: empathy, assertive communication and creativity to improve coexistence scenarios inside and outside the school context. During the search process, it was proposed to strengthen the socio-emotional skills in first grade students, since they showed a high degree of conflict and differences in their interpersonal relationships, which at times were not resolved adequately, this led us to search a strategy that managed to improve the scenarios of coexistence, considering drawing as a striking and creative instrument for children, based on the fact of the benefits and contributions that art has in cognitive improvement, in the development of creative capacity, in the good personal and social development, providing in each of them spaces for the discovery of new skills and the strengthening of socio-emotional skills. This is how it was found that drawing in the initial school stage plays a fundamental role in the learning processes, since it can provide elements that help improve interpersonal relationships, achieving spaces for healthy coexistence, becoming a didactic strategy for students to learn. students express, capture and manifest their emotions, their feelings, their frustrations and their successes. After carrying out a research process and reading the positions of several authors who speak of aspects such as pedagogy (María Montessori), who developed a pedagogical method focused on the development and social maturity of the child, cognition (Jean Piaget) who formulated a model on learning based on the concept of the action of experience, creativity (Vigotsky) explains that creativity corresponds to a brain activity that develops on the basis of these new approaches, art and drawing (Lowenfeld and Lambert) They say that it is a dynamic and unifying activity, with a vital role in the education of children, for this reason drawing constitutes a process in which elements of their experience come together to form a whole with a new meaning, a solution was established according to the needs of the focus group with which we worked, taking into account their ages, their abilities and their tastes to guarantee a quality result in the strengthening of the social-emotional skills of each child.
