Sede Bogotá., ) Cano Bernal, Sebastian Felipe; Campos Montealegre, Davison Alexander; Rodríguez Barón, Iván FelipeTechnology in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) has allowed us to have a greater perspective regarding the usefulness of airspace for industries or commerce in general. The current vision of the UAS mainly focuses its efforts on urban and regional passenger transportation; However, its usefulness as a means of logistical transportation for the transportation of goods is a utility that is still in the research and development stages in first world countries with the investment of large companies such as Amazon or UPS. Nowadays, in 2023, through some UAS, tests are being carried out to transport merchandise in general, with the only limitations being the load capacity of the aircraft or the flight autonomy that the system may have. Among the things that can be transported in a UAS are medical supplies or human tissues for transplants, which, in underdeveloped countries that lack hospital and road infrastructure, must travel long distances to their destinations. In Colombia, due to the little infrastructure, adapted to the needs of 2023, the use of airspace will be important for the transport of special handling goods, such as human tissues since these require special care and processing times. very careful delivery because the life of a human being could depend on this. This article will discuss the use of airways previously designed for the use of helicopters. Which, establishing certain limits in their operation, such as the flight altitude and their safety zones towards their surrounding spaces and additionally with the support of aeronautical and local regulations, which allow the implementation of the Drone Delivery method for use in medical applications, reducing vital delivery times in health systems but also benefiting the environment with the use of renewable energies such as electrical energy, promoting its movement.

Sede Bogotá., ) Parra Sanabria, Hilda Yaneth; Parra Sanabria, Carmen Yolanda; Rodríguez Barón, Iván FelipeYoung people develop mainly in two contexts that are closely linked, the physical and the virtual. In these, they exchange information, establish interpersonal relationships with individuals from other cultures, adopt habits and customs of thepeople they follow, and face challenges for which the educational institution does not prepare them, nor integrate them with citizenship competencies. In this way, this research addresses the challenges presented by the Educational Institution El Rosario de Paipa the training of ninth grade students in citizenship skills, applying Information and Communications Technology (ICT) tools, taking into account the perspective of teachers and students of the institution. Through qualitative research that seeks to analyze a social and pedagogical phenomenon, semi- structured group interviews were conducted, which allow to demonstrate the need for strategies, tools for the appropriation of knowledge. When comparing the perspective of students and teachers, in terms of citizenship training, it was evidenced that both teachers and students recognize the need to strengthen citizenship skills, promoting skills for managing social and communicative relationships based on respect. for themselves, the opinion of the other, and diversity, also, in responsibility, with the content created by them and their opinion against the content of others. Likewise, the way to solve the conflicts that arise in virtual spaces.
Sede Bogotá., ) Velásquez Bran, Juan David; Rodríguez Barón, Iván FelipeDespite the growing popularity of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in areas such as inspection, agriculture and surveillance, their autonomy is often limited by power constraints. An emerging solution is the captive drone or tUAV, which receives power and data from a ground source via a cable. This approach not only solves the energy challenge, but also offers opportunities in monitoring and control. This study presents a drone specifically designed to fly stably in challenging conditions, using advanced control algorithms and a ground station that supplies continuous power, thus extending its flight autonomy. The proposed methodology presents an iterative and structured approach for the development and optimization of drones and ground stations. The process starts with a literature review and requirements definition, followed by a prototyping phase that includes drone design, development of control algorithms and construction of a ground station prototype. Tests and evaluations are conducted under various conditions to assess the performance, energy efficiency and adaptability of the drone. Based on the results, an optimization and refinement phase are carried out to improve all systems. Finally, the entire process, findings and results are documented and presented. This methodology ensures a systematic and evidence-based development, allowing for adaptations and improvements based on emerging challenges and needs.

Sede Bogotá., ) Rodríguez Gutiérrez, Daniela Alejandra; Rivera Lozano, Gineth Valeria; Rodríguez Barón, Iván FelipeTo carry out aerodynamic investigations involving high speeds and temperatures, crash tunnels have been used, which are experimental ground test facilities. For this project, the preliminary and conceptual design of a supersonic shock tube will be developed, which represents the flow entrance to the shock tunnel, approximating the extreme conditions encountered during the re-entry of a space vehicle into the Earth's atmosphere at supersonic flight speeds, that is, it provides high enthalpy fluxes. Initially, a shock tube is divided into two sections: Driver (high pressure) and Driven (low pressure), separated by a thin diaphragm that maintains a different pressure in each section, when it breaks, a wave is generated normal shock due to compression waves merging. Subsequently, that normal shock wave propagates towards the low pressure section until it reaches the end wall of the tube and is reflected, while the expansion wave travels towards the high pressure section. From the equations established in supersonic aerodynamics for normal and oblique shock waves, the flow conditions in the shock tube and at its outlet can be determined to carry out studies in the other sections of the tunnel. This investigation is based on the assumption of a calorically perfect gas (stable enthalpy), for which the properties after the normal shock wave are functions only dependent on the shock Mach number and the initial properties defined at sea level. Additionally, it is necessary to determine the dimensions of the tube and its respective couplings, taking into account the standardization of parts (COTS materials) and the theory for thin-walled pressure vessels. Then, CAD modeling is carried out using SolidEdge software with the estimated dimensions and considering the parameters established by ergonomics at work for the operation of the tube. Finally, a 2D simulation is carried out in the Ansys software in order to observe the behavior of the flow through four different contours corresponding to pressure, temperature, density and speed.

Sede Bogotá., ) Pelayo Robelto, Daniel Alejandro; Melo Daza, Pedro Fernando; Rodríguez Barón, Iván FelipeWhen studying the analysis of aeronautical structures II, knowledge is developed regarding the behavior of internal forces, deformations and stresses acting on a structure, its theoretical and mathematical bases, computational aerodynamics; knowledge in which software development can be applied and executed, opening the perspective to possible solutions and breaking limitations when performing different analyses and tests in the field of engineering, and in aeroelasticity where inertial, static and aerodynamic forces are taken to the limit. The study of modal analysis proposes to determine the natural frequencies, for this numerical methods have been used since the 40s, which allow to show the parameters in a computational way, however, for their validation a study that supports said simulations is required. Now, it is necessary to identify the relationship between numerical and experimental methods. For the numerical methods, it is necessary to evaluate the natural frequencies of a plane in boundary conditions (embedded-free) implementing the Euler-Bernouli theory (beam theory). For this purpose, the Ansys Discovery software will be used. While for the experimental process, it is requested to design and build a physical model of a plane in order to perform the corresponding data acquisition with acceleration sensors, a signal amplifier, equipment and NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS LabVIEW software. The delivered data will be analyzed and compared.
Sede Bogotá., ) Gutiérrez Zúñiga, Josimar De Jesús; Rodríguez Barón, Iván FelipeIn the present research, an analysis is made on the impact of the transdisciplinarity of environmental education, in the strengthening of learning and environmental ethics in ninth grade students of the District Educational Institution Luz del Caribe of the city of Barranquilla. Environmental Education is not an independent discipline, rather it must be present in all aspects of the educational process, hence the need to carry out this exploratory research, based on the results of the external tests "evaluate to advance", as well as the internal evaluation process and attitudinal advances, with which it is intended to visualize the application of environmental ethics within the educational context. In this way, questionnaires are implemented as validation instruments, in reflection groups formed by three teachers of the area and two teaching directors. Other tools such as the documentary review of the school environmental project, the traffic lights of prioritization of learning issued by the Secretary of Education, the learning guides and the consolidation of notes are taken as main inputs to address the proposed instruments. It should be noted that according to the information analyzed in the reflection groups with teachers, there are few advances observed in the strengthening of learning, since only 20% on average of the sample, presents significant advances in relation to the objectives of the strategy, in turn, strengths are glimpsed. In terms of environmental ethics in the institution, since the sources consulted agree that it has been possible to significantly increase a culture of energy saving and care for the animal species present in the school, which until a few months ago were constantly attacked. Finally, it is recommended to expand the sample and the time of application of the transdisciplinary strategy, in order to achieve a greater understanding of the research problem, achieving depth in the study and generating improvement strategies that allow consolidating the main objective of the same.
Sede Bogotá., ) Gómez Useda, John Alberto; Rodríguez Barón, Iván FelipeThis research presents an analysis of the implementation of the Schlieren visualization technique in wind tunnel, where the wing of an unmanned vertical take-off and landing aircraft and horizontal advance "vertical take off landing VTOL" is analyzed, initially performing a theoretical analysis calculation of the resistance generated by the vertical lift propellers and then performing a wind tunnel assembly of the Schlieren visualization technique type Z, where in order to observe the detachment of the boundary layer or the wakes generated on the top surface of the wing by means of photographs. Taking into account that the operation of unmanned aircrafts does not overcome the sound barrier and this subsonic flow when in contact with elements in front of the wing, besides generating drag when advancing, can generate vorticity, which can present air circulation bubbles that can at some point detach the boundary layer and consequently present uncalculated losses of lift in the wing. With the visualization technique we want to know how this interference occurs when the air passes through the propeller of a VTOL system.
Sede Bogotá., ) Bejarano Sepúlveda, Edison Jair; Rodríguez Barón, Iván FelipeAircraft Maintenance Facilities that have been certi ed as MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) centres where maintenance procedures such as general revision, minor repairs of systems, subsystems and aeronautical components are carried out, including the overhaul of engines and propellers which are performed in line. It is the case of the CMR center of the company Vertical, where a problem in the maintenance process of the Klimov TV3-117 engine was identi ed due to the di culties in the stage of handling and rotation of the unit, as its weigth is in the range between 250 and 350 kg, often causing delay in the stipulated time for each operation, therefore increasing the overal costs for the operator. By means of computer modelling, a CAD software was used in order to carry an applied research for the conceptual projection and the structural analisis of the design. This research has as a result the conception and the structural viability study of the prototype for a ground support equipment for handling and maintenance of a turboshaft engine, with whose implementation would enable the saving of 100 man-hours of labour, as four specialised operators and two inspectors are needed when conventional support systems are used for the overhaul of the engine, and with this new design, only one of each would be needed instead. All this adds up to an amount of about $10 000 being saved per overhauled engine.

- ÍtemSistema de medición actitudinal de un cuerpo para uso en túneles de vientoMonroy Rojas, Juan Diego; Rodríguez Barón, Iván FelipeWithin the aeronautical industry there are several types of approaches, such as design, development, maintenance and tuning of aircraft and their components, among others. Which must be carried out by the whole of the private sector (industry), the public sector (state) and the academic sector (study centers), the latter, responsible for generating new knowledge, research and developments, which are regulated by the state and industrialized by the private sector. In this work of degree will be a system which in real time will show us the attitudinal behavior of an aerodynamic profile, recognizing its angle of attack in which it is found by means of an accelerometer and gyroscope which is the MPU-6050 and so that all This acquired data is visible in a friendly interface with the user, an Arduino UNO board was used, which when connected to the computer shows all values in real time in a more ordered way. Taking into account the system carried out, it was applied in the wind tunnel of the Los Libertadores University Foundation to compare the data collection of the system that was made with the form that is currently used in the laboratories that is developed which is by differential of pressure with the pitot tubes, this was done to improve the acquired data. When performing the different tests and comparing the two forms of data acquisition, it was concluded that with the attitudinal measurement system the values are closer to the theoretical value which is always to arrive
