Sede Bogotá., ) Robledo Ramírez, Iluminada; Sánchez Suarez, Oscar FernandoThe present pedagogical intervention proposal aims to strengthen emotional intelligence through the implementation of plastic art as a strategy, in boys and girls of 5 and 6 years old, ages that show a full development of their capacities. Emotions are present in every aspect of our lives and our daily lives. Knowing how to recognize, control and use them through emotional intelligence, allowing everyone to face them in their day to day, efficiently. The plastic arts allow children to increase perception, sensitivity, flexibility of thought, adaptability, develop aesthetic appreciation, tolerance, empathy, observation, the ability to analyze, expression, creativity, help to the formation and balance of the nervous system, among others, in short, the plastic arts, allow students to acquire a number of basic, social and emotional skills for personal development and prepares them for life. The visual arts will be the support so that the students and their caregiver learn in a playful way, to recognize, name, manage and correctly face basic emotions, develop empathy, communication and active listening, thus allowing them to function better in fields social.
