With the general objective of proposing a ludic pedagogical strategy with the help of ICT to strengthen reading comprehension in students during an academic period, it is intended to strengthen and improve reading comprehension processes, so that it is possible to facilitate the educational process. , since through this type of didactic strategy, it is possible to apply a more active and agile methodology that contributes to supporting teaching practice, aimed at developing logical and critical thinking, promoting motivation and stimulating innovation, with the purpose that the student is the protagonist of his own learning, improving his motivation, his performance and academic performance. The project is aimed at a population of 10 students aged between 12 and 14 years, through a methodology with a qualitative approach and type of action research, using survey and observation as techniques for obtaining information and non-observation as instruments. participatory, observation guide, tests and questionnaires. When assessing the process of preparing the proposal, it is found that it meets the relevant requirements to implement a process of strengthening the reading skills of students to promote the necessary conditions for the improvement of reading comprehension.
