Sede Bogotá., ) Puello Blanco, Meyler; Mancera Baquero, JennyferThe present research work aimed to show the importance of traditional games in school, especially in the children of the First 01 grade of the Roque De Los Ríos Valle Departmental Educational Institution of the district of El Reten Magdalena. Traditional games have an enormous educational richness that encourages the stimulation of skills and attitudes, becoming a playful and educational resource; encouraging children to recover the social integration of games, especially traditional ones, presenting them in a fun and motivating way, away from digital screens, and inviting them to be part of new open, playful and recreational spaces. Within the present investigation, various pedagogical aspects have been generated that support the established objectives, covering the cognitive, aesthetic and corporal dimension of the integral development of the students within a critical social approach, forming students with autonomy, criticism, argumentation of ideas, participatory and leaders capable of fostering new social experiences.
