Sede Bogotá., ) Poveda Rodríguez, Edilson Ayen; Sáchica Cepeda, Leidy CristinaThe project of disciplinary intervention The strengthening of literacy processes through the drawing (illustration), that was carried out in the Provincia de Quebec public School, arises from the apathy towards reading and writing found in the classroom. Looking for a solution about that, it is found that the students liked drawing and taking that aspect as a basis for this pedagogical intervention, it aimed to strengthen the literacy processes through drawing (illustration) in boys and girls of the fourth grade from the afternoon shift of that school. In this way, the "Creating My Macondo" strategy was divided into some workshops where students through the use of different artistic techniques represented their interpretations of the text One Hundred Years of Solitude, while it was promoting the development of artistic and communicative skills. From this, we could reflect on the importance of art not only in the improvement of academic processes but in the construction of better coexistence relationships in the classroom.
