The objective of this work is: "to define the elements to build a psycho-oncological management guide that facilitates the professional in psychology to provide a comprehensive and efficient intervention in the adolescent population diagnosed with acute lymphoid leukemia in the clinical setting", which was carried out through a qualitative documentary research, seeking to interpret and describe data collected through interviews (5 adolescents diagnosed with the disease who have already gone through the process, 5 relatives and 5 health professionals) based on facts and particular cases, building the theory through research, where the inquirer focuses on the narrative of the participants. For the analysis of results, 3 categories are proposed (perception of cancer, alterations or changes due to the presence of the disease and the importance of psychological support throughout the treatment) where it is concluded that for the three groups interviewed, psychological treatment is fundamental since a Diagnosis of these characteristics alters all instances of the quality of life of both the minor and his family, it was also evidenced that not all the participants had intervention from this discipline, which caused unresolved doubts, episodes such as anxiety, depression, fear of death where many times they preferred not to comment with the family so as not to worry them more.
