Sede Bogotá., ) Pineda Niño, Astrid Paola; Niño Murcia, Olga SoledadIn this document, it is intended to make known the design of a proposal in which dance is integrated as an artistic mean to enhance the development of communication skills of IED Bolivia students, who have mild intellectual disabilities and from 2020 year are participants in the workshops offered by the CREA- Idartes program, which are offered as centers of interest in the Institution. A qualitative methodology is used, such as participant observation, which allows the observation, intervention with the population as well as analysis of the context to act as central axes of the research, thus achieving a more direct relationship with the participants of this didactic proposal. The approaches carried out allow us to show that dance can act as a mediator in a positive way not only at the level but in different processes of people with disabilities.
