Sede Bogotá., ) Herrera Farfán, José Manuel Guillermo; Silva Nuñez, Nohemi; Téllez Acuña., Ceidy Adriana;; Pedraza Betancourth, Nelson JavierThroughout this work the study of the analysis and aerodynamic behavior of the wing of a mini Unmanned Aerial Vehicle called VANT-Solvendus1 is presented. This study is carried out based on the macro project of the Los Libertadores University Foundation, through programs of CFD (Computational Fluids Dynamics) such as Cosmosflow of SOLIDWORKS, CFX and ANSYS-FLUENT, using codes developed in MATLAB such as Tornado, in low applications speed. A 2D aerodynamic analysis (program Xfoil and Xflr5) is carried out for the aerodynamic profile EPPLER212 (EPP212), analyzed in various flight regimes, Starting from aerodynamic calculations, comparing its theoretical advantages with the results obtained in Tornado. Having the model of the wing in a CAD program for its acronym in Computure Aided Design (Computer Aided Design) as SolidWorks®, computational simulations of the three-dimensional model are performed, optimizing it so that its flight behavior is efficient, conducting a study of torsion at the tip of the wing, with the Tornado program. The physical model of the wing is constructed, on which the experimental tests in the wind tunnel LAE (Laboratory Aircraft EESC-USP) are executed, and with the data obtained the comparison with the computational ones is made
Sede Bogotá., ) Gómez Bello, Eduard Sthiven; González Rodríguez, Miller David; Pedraza Betancourth, Nelson JavierThis degree work, sought to apply the concept of Canard aircraft in the conceptual design and preliminary homebuilt aircraft a type. Based on the initial requirements and taking as guides the baseline, performing several studies with the purpose of obtaining the best results in performance, speed, range, range and height with respect to other aircraft of its kind. The concept of the wing with progressive arrow or forward sweep and its characteristics, being applied in an innovative way to an aircraft of this type, with the necessary arguments and documentary evidence on the improvements that are possible to obtain. Also considered the possibility of achieving an aerodynamic design that allowed to obtain a high performance and to be aesthetically more attractive the aircraft.
