- ÍtemLa danza, alegría del alma y el corazón, el buen vivir del pueblo indígena. “wetha ku´ju´ kwesx fxi zenxi uuste nasa”(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Pechene Quintana, John Alexander; Yalanda Tombe, Clemencia; Mancera Baquero, JennyferAs a result of the processes of colonization and globalization, much of the indigenous knowledge has been weakened and even lost over time. To face this situation, this project seeks to develop strategies for the revitalization of some cultural knowledge of the Nasa indigenous people through dance with children of the Community Moment (second grade) of the Insitución Educativa Indígena El Mesón (INEIM) recognizing the own dance as a living expression of the native peoples, which allows us to recover history, culture, identity and spirituality to survive in time and space. For the development of this proposal, three phases will be taken into account that will allow a clear and precise approach to the progress and execution of the project. In the first phase, the survey instrument will be applied to the children of the community moment. During the second phase, an observation record will be worked on, which will allow a bimonthly diagnosis to be made on the progress of the children's own dance. In the first phase, the survey instrument will be applied to the children of the community moment. During the second phase, an observation record is worked on, which will allow a bimonthly diagnosis to be made about the progress of the children's own dance. The results show the variety of dances that are still preserved in the community and that were about to disappear, as well as the joy of adults when they see children dance and reconnect with this practice and its historical, cultural and spiritual background. In this way, we highlight the relevance of the project in the revitalization of the knowledge of the Nasa indigenous people of the municipality of Morales, Cauca.
- ÍtemIntervención a la quebrada Agua Amarilla (YU´KIÇ WALA) en la vereda El Mesón municipio de Morales, mediante la realización de actividades encaminadas a buscar su recuperaciónBermúdez Cucuñame, Edwar Alexis; Pechene Quintana, John Alexander; Paeres Aguirre, Ana MariaOne of the great global problems is the difficulty that many rural communities have in accessing to drinking water supplies. This situation is aggravated by the little importance that people give to small water sources, pollution and the lack of infrastructure. This paper approaches this problem by studying the case of the Agua Amarilla stream, located in the indigenous reservation of Honduras (Uh ’Wala Vxç), Morales municipality, Cauca department. To address this problem, a recovery strategy is proposed for that water source, establishing its environmental services as an alternative for supplying water to the population. It is also indicated the importance of the ecosystem services that this affluent provides along its journey to its mouth. To this end, a pedagogical proposal has been proposed, directed by the elder spirits, through spiritual works and the wise elder (The Wala), which includes visits to the water source with students to strengthen territorial appropriation and conversations with the elderly to rebuild the memory of the brook. The expected result of these activities includes works written by the students (Reflections, essays, verses, stories), drawings and photographs. These activities are carried out within the framework of community work, expressed through the mingas that unite the community in the sharing of knowledge, wise, food and cultural traditions of the Nasa people.
