- ÍtemAnálisis multivariado para los departamentos de Colombia en el año 2018 según los criterios de mortalidad de la lista 6/67 y su relación con determinantes económicos(Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores. Sede Bogotá., ) Parra Perea, Andrés Felipe; Gallego Torres, Adriana PatriciaThis work contains multivariate analysis techniques for the departments of Colombia according to the mortality rates from the 6/67 list given by the Panamerican Health Organization, especially the cluster analysis technique whose purpose has been to find the similarities and differences in the groups of departments by levels in such mortality rates through hierarchical and non-hierarchical methods and to investigate their relationship with socioeconomic determinants through a correspondence analysis. Among the main results is that the most relevant causes of mortality in Colombia for 2018 were circulatory diseases and neoplasms in their order, which were taken as a reference to categorize the clusters of departments. Those with higher rates of these causes were related to the departments with better standards and quality of life. It is not ruled out that the growth in the older adult population due to medical advances has to do with these high rates and that hypertension, which is a disease whose risk factor increases at these ages, contributes in an important way to this group. The poorest departments were associated with lower mortality rates in important causes and with high rates in diseases considered preventable, such as communicable diseases.
