Sede Bogotá., ) Parra Jiménez, Samary Tatiana; Sáchica Cepeda, Leidy CristinaThe Castilian language is one of the most difficult to learn, due to the countless rules and guidelines that must be followed to make good use of it; it is precisely this, which causes some apathy in students when it comes to learning the thematic contents of this area, specifically those related to grammar. Bearing in mind, that the grammar includes aspects like: the form (morphology), the sound (phonology), the meaning (semantics) and the organization of the words (Syntax); then, if not all the concepts that have to do with the aforementioned aspects are apprehended, the grammatical or communicative competences are not developed; that is, there is no mastery of the language; The ability to know what to say and understand what others want to say is not developed. The above, is notorious in the students of the Agricultural Technical Educational Institution of the Guamo, who have shortcomings in the production and understanding of texts, because they have no study habits; therefore, previous knowledge is very scarce. For this reason they present a low academic performance, as well as very poor results in the internal and external tests they face. In order to attack this problem and improve the teaching-learning process, this intervention proposal was designed, which seeks to strengthen the grasp of the grammatical skills of students from 6th to 9th grade of the IETA, through of the enjoyment, the delight and the relaxation that the music produces. This proposal is called Adapting and singing, which consists of adapting the lyrics of songs known by students according to the themes seen in class. Which is framed within qualitative research and has a descriptive focus. Through different ludic activities that have music as a main reference, the aim is to encourage creativity, ingenuity, teamwork; but above all the apprehension of the thematic contents of the area of Spanish, thus favoring corporal, oral and written expression. Providing students with the necessary tools to face reality and improve their future communication.
