Sede Bogotá., ) Parra Collazos, Milena; Mancera Baquero, JennyferThis disciplinary intervention proposal was developed with the purpose of designing a playful strategy to strengthen basic mathematical operations in fifth grade students of the Institución Educativa Rural La Gallineta, in the municipality of San José del Fragua-Caquetá, an activity that was carried out under the qualitative approach with the intention of solving the poor performance of the students who are the focus of the research in the area of mathematics as a consequence of presenting difficulties in learning basic mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). In this way, a series of activities are proposed, which are part of the proposal called: Mathematics-mind; these were designed with the Research-Action methodology, with the purpose of achieving the motivation of the students in the activities and dynamics carried out in classes, focused on improving the performance of the students. The conclusions consisted in determining that through the activities proposed in the proposal to obtain a better performance in the students in the subject of mathematics, it is important to link a strategy that captures in them the necessary attention so that, in this way, the teaching-learning process is developed in a better way
