Sede Bogotá., ) González Bohórquez, César Javier; Pantoja Muñoz, Francisco Javier; Santana Alfonso, Adrián AlbertoFor the first quarter of 2020, the state of a pandemic by Covid-19 is declared and each country initiates a series of decisions in accordance with the suggestions of the World Health Organization, that is where we want to analyze the role played by Colombia as a member of the OECD since 2020 based on the progress in infections and deaths from Covid-19. The member countries of the OECD are recognized for being a group of countries with good practices in public policies that benefit their inhabitants in different areas of interest including health, infrastructure and social welfare, for this reason the variables of contagion, mortality, vaccination progress, number of hospital beds per thousand inhabitants, population density and total population with quarterly measurements throughout 2020 and 2021. Performance is evaluated through descriptive analysis, correlation of variables, grouping and simple GLM Poisson Log regression, which allows estimating the number of deaths from covid-19 for the countries of the two different groups generated from the significant variables of the model as of December 2021.
