Sede Bogotá., ) Bravo Terán, Elvia Polimnia; Pacho Yucue, Martiniano; Angulo Obando, Filomena; Escobar Romero, JoseThe objective of this research was to determine the components of emotional intelligence that allow the peaceful resolution of conflicts in students of the seventh grade of the I.E. Ateneo of Pradera - Valle del Cauca, to propose a proposal of playful-pedagogical strategies. A sample frame has been determined, 41 students, made up of 38 young ladies and three young people, aged between twelve and fourteen years old, of them, 29 students are considered mestizo and 12 Afro-descendants, who represent 9%. of the object of study. The research is developed with a Mixed approach, descriptive scope from the quantitative and hermeneutical depth from the qualitative, in which two instruments are applied: The Emotional Intelligence Test and the survey, with which results were obtained that show the lack of assertiveness in the social components of empathy and social ability, linked to the difficulty of relationship with the other, which indicates an inappropriate line of conduct in harmonic environments. In addition, it was concluded that most of the students in the sample show strength in the components of selfknowledge, self-control, self-confidence and motivation corresponding to the relationship with themselves. demonstrating that there is a very high value attitude regarding them, but it is difficult for them to relate to others and finally, it was recommended to create within the educational institution a committee made up of students, parents and teachers aimed at integral value of the peaceful resolution of conflicts and the development of a healthy Emotional intelligence.
