It has 35 students; there are nine in transition grade. Their teacher uses the collaborative approach in her teaching – learning process. For this reason, this research work is based on it. This research is focused on the analysis that the emotional intelligence has over the collaborative working in the kindergarten student´s. In order to answer the question: How the development of emotional intelligence works in favor of collaborative task at the kindergarten students from the Alegrías Infantiles kindergarten? The researchers target their output in qualitative approach. They collected the information using the observation writing on diaries. The analysis allowed concluding that the development of the emotional intelligence provided the improvement of all emotional capabilities. Those capabilities reinforce relationships between partners and give successful in collaborative tasks. Moreover, is important to take into account the teacher´s role as a facilitator among the collaborative task who is looking for teaching under the emotional intelligence, and in that way assure the academic and relationship development along student´s life.
