Sede Bogotá., ) Pérez Rincón, José Alexander; Chicangana López, ArmandoOne of the most defining transitions in a high school student's school life happens to be entering college; however, admission to higher education is expressed as excluding, if the economic conditions that allow them to pay for education in private institutions are not available, or failing that, if the admission processes in public institutions are not meritoriously approved; This situation is faced year after year by the students of the Gabriel García Márquez IED school. The situation is much more distressing for them if their interests include continuing studies in the arts, even in science disciplines, while artistic training at school does not enjoy the same value as other fields of knowledge. Faced with this, the implementation of a curricular proposal that enables the development of the aesthetic dimension of the institution's students for an effective admission process to programs related to social sciences or arts of public universities in Bogotá is imperative. In this way, the present formative-investigative work is proposed, in which a revision and adaptation of the pedagogical, formative and didactic processes of the institution is established, and these are analyzed from a qualitative methodological perspective of descriptive hermeneutics, which allows the improvement of the institutional conditions to exponentially qualify the learning in the students of the Gabriel García Márquez IED school, and thus the admission processes in public universities in the areas related to the social sciences and arts are successful.
