- ÍtemDinámicas Escolares y Familiares que Inciden en la Adquisición del Hábito Lector en Jóvenes de un Colegio Privado de la Localidad de BosaOsorio Sánchez, Angie Milena; Jurado Duque, Hernán DavidIn this qualitative study, we sought to identify and analyze the family and school dynamics that affect the development of the reading habit in 10th and 11th grade students of the Claretiano El Libertador School, located in the town of Bosa in Bogotá. This, by means of two semi-structured interviews; one, addressed to two teachers, and another to six students, which were selected taking into account the interview with teachers, where they chose some students who have managed to develop the habit or are in the process and others who have had difficulties with the readers process. Taking into account the results of research similar to the topic, the interviews were constructed and the elements immersed in the family and school dynamics that could play an important role when acquiring or maintaining the reading habit in the students were examined. The results and data analyzed suggest that within the family dynamics, elements such as family composition and its characteristics, the value that this gives to reading, the investment of resources in this activity -especially the time dedicated-, the excessive use of technology, rituals and key moment in the history of the student play a fundamental role in the development of this habit. However, within the school dynamics we find that comprehensive reading, pedagogical practices, affectivity, work together family-school or guidance given to the family about this practice, conditions and resources that the institution offers teachers and students regarding the promotion of reading and 9 the instrumentalizing nature of this activity are elements that may well promote or significantly limit the development of reading habits in this population.
