Sandy in San Vicente del Caguán Caquetá. The research is based on the methodological assumptions of the qualitative approach, it is descriptive and interpretive in nature based on the contributions collected from parents, teachers and students; The problem posed for this research is: Do the ludic-pedagogical strategies contribute to reducing school dropout in the Arenoso Rural Educational Institution of San Vicente del Caguán Caquetá? The objective that guides the research is: to contribute to the reduction of school dropout in students of grade 5 of primary school in the I.E.R. Sandy in San Vicente del Caguán Caquetá. The theoretical supports are structured based on three conceptual axes: desertion, pedagogical and playful strategies, based on the work carried out in the field with Beltrán (2020), Gallego and Lavado (2005), Gamboa 2013, Díaz (2017), Barrera and Lopez, (2016). The results allow us to conclude that the problems of family dysfunction, economic difficulties and problems related to coexistence in the classroom; were the main factors that produce a negative environment for students; The aforementioned situations generate a climate of discomfort, demotivation and frustration, which translates into the interruption of the formal studies of the population studied.

Sede Bogotá., ) González Vargas, Ángela María; Ospina Barinas, Andrea Milena; Ortiz Franco, Juan VicenteThe present research work, is an investigation on the practices and intentions of the evaluation in the area of artistic education in public and private educational institutions of Bogotá of basic and medium, following the concern about the lack of evaluation instruments in the area, the poor articulation between the curriculum and the evaluation, the inconsistency between the discourse of artistic education as the central axis of the integral development of the being and the lack of teacher training on instruments, strategies and uses of the evaluation in the artistic languages in the institutions. Therefore, the objective of the research was defined: to base a proposal for evaluation in artistic education, in accordance with the needs of the current educational context and the training in art taught in basic and secondary institutions; public and private of the city of Bogotá with the purpose of promoting and evidencing alternatives for the evaluation of learning in the area. It is designed and validated through expert judgment, an instrument for collecting information to characterize 52 teachers of artistic education of institutions of the city, the institutions themselves and their gaze on the area and the evaluative practices of teachers, and the collection From this information, the definition of criteria that allow the consolidation of the evaluation proposal for the area of artistic education arises. The findings and results allow designing and substantiating a competency-based evaluation proposal, which provides for a formative evaluation that, in turn, allows the student to observe, review and feedback their own training process and contribute directly to the development of artistic skills that also they will serve for their integral development and that will allow them to demonstrate the learning path through a constructive and dynamic process. From the competences defined for the area in a transversal way to the artistic languages worked (plastic arts, drama, dance and music), articulating axes are defined that respond to the development of the competences and are specific for each language allowing the teacher the evaluation from different perspectives in a holistic way. The results of the research confirm the initial hypotheses and it is recommended that teachers who work in the artistic area be trained in methods, instruments, uses and intentions of the evaluation to guide it towards an evaluation for learning, it is also necessary to generate initiatives to achieve coherence between curriculum and evaluation, focus the evaluation on the student as the protagonist of the process itself and transcend the discourse into practice through the dynamization of the evaluation processes. This proposal is constructed under a scientific rigor, within a mixed method, and with the strength of external validity towards the practices in artistic evaluation of the city of Bogotá, since the universe was constituted in the 20 localities, both of public institutions as private allowing the results to be applicable and valid for their development in the educational institutions of Bogotá and why not at the national level.

Sede Bogotá., ) Ortiz Montañez, Angie Paola; Ortiz Franco, Juan VicenteThe study "Effects of higher education on the development of reading competence in the Los Libertadores University Foundation", exposes an analysis of the behavior of reading competence upon entry and exit of higher education in two Faculties of the Los Libertadores University Foundation FULL, based on the results of the Saber 11 and Saber Pro State Tests, implemented by the Ministry of National Education, with the aim of establishing if there is a statistically significant difference between the two. In relation to the above, the hypothesis questions whether there is a statistically significant difference between the results of the Saber Pro Test, in contrast to the results of the Saber 11 Test. That said, the methodology is a quantitative study, developed from a non-experimental statistical design of correlational scope with descriptive elements, for which the collection and analysis of secondary data was used as an instrument, taking into account that these come from the Colombian Institute for the Evaluation of Education ICFES, an official source. Additionally, the sample consisted of 136 students. The results show that there is a statistically significant difference of -14.06 points in the results of the Saber Pro State Test, with respect to the results of the Saber 11 State Test, which is why the research hypothesis is validated and it is concluded that the difference identified probably indicates a deterioration in reading competence once they have completed higher education by the students belonging to the sample

Sede Bogotá., ) Mendoza Moreno, Kilderman; Quintana Arias, Andrés Eduardo; Ortiz Franco, Juan VicenteThe purpose of this research is to investigate the theoretical knowledge and the conceptions that teachers have about methods, techniques and instruments, their forms of application and their possible intentionalities in the evaluation of learning; The research is developed through a qualitative method, the instrument used for data collection is the survey, in order to perform text analysis and categorize openly and selectively the data found, comparing by level of performance teaching , time of experience and level of training achieved; the sample is of a non-probabilistic type, selecting 243 professors dedicated in practice to the teaching of graduates and non-graduates; as results are obtained that the theoretical conceptual use is not evident and their conceptions are far away from the theoretical concepts, often the answers are not related to the theoretical concept and their conceptions show a significant difference between the formative approach and the technical approach, being used often the technical approach in its forms of use although in their intentions manifest a formative approach.

Sede Bogotá., ) Caicedo Mosquera, Bellanira; Peña Mosquera, Delia María; Rodríguez Montaño, Daisy Marleny; Ortiz Franco, Juan VicenteThis research focuses on relevant problems of the Colombian society and particularly of Valle de Cauca; it constitutes a means to mitigate the consequences of violence that is visible in educational environments such as coexistence and its impact on the academic performance of educational institutions in the municipality of Jamundí, where aggressive behaviors of students are evidenced, creating distraction, conflicts in the classroom and in the school environment, being all these, some of the problems associated with the context. Therefore, the question posed for this research is: What are the factors of school coexistence that influence the teaching and learning processes and affect the development of peaceful environments in the educational institutions of the municipality of Jamundí? From this, it is proposed as an objective, to contribute with the improvement of healthy coexistence in the educational institutions of the municipality of Jamundí to strengthen the teaching and learning processes and the integral formation of the students; for the achievement of this, some factors that affect coexistence were 26 identified, among them: social, personal, family and school, which therefore influence the teaching and learning processes. Subsequently, a proposal is structured to contribute to the improvement of institutional academic and coexistence conditions, under the construction of peace cultures, fostering positive social relations, self-knowledge, emotion management and conflict resolution among the participants. The methodological approach is qualitative, descriptive in nature, since it consults the experiences in different contexts of three actors: students, teachers and parents. The field work takes as reference a population of 4,177 students enrolled in two educational institutions, with a representative sample of 94 students in grades 5 and 6, 17 teachers and 40 parents to whom the survey was applied, based on the coexistence in three axes: school coexistence, interpersonal relationships and school conflict, to generate alternatives aimed at improving environments that favor the integral formation of students and their learning. Based on the analysis of the instruments applied for the research, the results show the relationship between the family climate, the way they solve conflicts and how these are transferred to the school context, where the following conclusions were obtained: behavior influences academic performance, parenting patterns are decisive factors in the behavior of students; in classrooms there are situations that generate a lack of coexistence and destabilize school environments.

Sede Bogotá., ) Bejarano Quintero, Gabriela; Ortiz Franco, Juan VicenteThe objective of this research was to contribute to the appropriation of fundamental notions about road safety through recreational strategies, aimed at recovering the educational role of the school in the field of road culture as part of the comprehensive training of students of the educational institutions of Tunja, Boyacá; This is because, although it is true, school road safety education is a social component that is not given the necessary attention, and therefore, efforts to develop solid road safety education projects are few, even knowing that the Traffic accidents are one of the main causes of death and injuries in the world and in Colombia, in addition to children and adolescents being the population most affected by this situation. For data collection in which the instruments are applied in The population under study, boys and girls between 6 and 12 years old from two schools in the city of Tunja, one private and one public, includes a diagnostic stage of the students' context, a test of prior knowledge about road safety education. , the design and application of the pedagogical proposal for the teaching of road safety education from the theoretical conceptualization and the development of recreational activities according to the proposed teaching units, theory and praxis, to finally apply a salient test of progress in knowledge and a satisfaction survey of the activities carried out. As a result, a generalized and very outstanding improvement was obtained in the three grades, second and third of the non-official school, and sixth of the official school in all the questions of the questionnaire applied thanks to the implementation of the recreational activities.

Sede Bogotá., ) Angulo Palacio, Olindo; Cantor Gutiérrez, Carlos Alberto; Ortiz Franco, Juan VicenteThe concern from all fields of knowledge has one of the central axes, the study on climate change, whose effects are still far from being interpreted in its true dimension and it is up to the whole society to assume a leading role to mitigate its impact. Nowadays, and for more than three decades in Colombia, we have talked about the handling of all types of waste and especially about hazardous waste. There are several laws, decrees and guidelines related with at schools that have been established as basic tools for the implementation of environmental programs. There are investigations and plans related with handling of waste in colleges. Unfortunately, there is a lack of handling, awareness and applicability of the regulations both in general waste produced by schools and in hazardous waste resulting from laboratory practices. Hazardous waste in chemistry laboratories of educational institutions are both liquid and solid, whose environmental impact is a consequence of inadequate disposal by dumping in drains or by the incorporation of general solid waste to landfills, causing contamination of air, soil and rivers and negative effects in the human health. The proposal that was developed from June 2018 to June 2019 with the aim of promoting awareness in the educational community and in particular, taking the IED PARCELAS school as a model in the municipality of Cota, consists of the construction of a didactic tool that allows the proper handling of hazardous waste in chemistry laboratories. It is important to build a didactic unit within the curriculum of the natural sciences that allows for awareness and consciousness of the care and protection of the environment and thus generate a school culture in each of the academic activities. To achieve this transformation of behavior, education is the main tool to implement from the first stages to the end of the entire educational process.

Observe the set of characteristics present when evaluating students' learning taking as a reference of analysis the practical and technical rationality approaches, to identify how it is possible to introduce improvements that are oriented to an evaluation for training under the exposed contributions by authors such as Santos Guerra Miguel Ángel, José Gimeno Sacristán, Ángel Díaz Barriga, Edith Litwin, and the approaches to evaluation as learning by Juan Manuel Alvarez Méndez. From the findings, the result of the field work, it is intended to propose training strategies aimed at enriching the exercise of university teaching and evaluation. It is a study of qualitative and contrasting analysis that includes in its population teachers and students with survey-based instruments for their corresponding analysis. It has, as expected, in a sample of 228 students and 29 teachers of the five programs and concentrated in the semesters from fourth to tenth. Sede Bogotá., ) Alonso Sanabria, Sandra Milena; Gómez Manrique, Nancy Yamile; Mojica Cely, John Jairo; Ortiz Franco, Juan VicenteThe present degree work entitled Ta-tum as a playful-pedagogical tool for the improvement of reading comprehension, shows how a technological resource can contribute significantly in improving reading comprehension. The general objective for the investigation was to strengthen the processes of reading comprehension of the students of the secondary school of the eighth grade of the I.E.D. Technician José de San Martín, through the use of the Ta-tum platform, as a playful-pedagogical tool. Through the Ta-tum platform, spaces were generated that allowed the learning of significantly and advance in a playful-pedagogical way in the reading processes with which eighth grade students through activities such as: thinking routines, tests of reading comprehension and textual productions, which show their strengths and weaknesses when reading. On the other hand, the methodology used for this project was mixed, the approach quantitative was carried out through the application of a pre-test and a post-test and the approach qualitative was developed through didactic sequences and thinking routines, to finally check if the activities implemented in the Ta-tum platform were relevant and contributed to learning in the improvement of reading comprehension processes. Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the sample consisted of 69 students, but It is important to clarify that the work on the platform was carried out in groups of two students, for from which the results of thirty-four works were obtained and evaluated. The results show that, through the development and feedback of the various activities proposed on the Ta-tum platform, students improved their analytical skills, of reading comprehension, they were able to synthesize and paraphrase simple texts and most importantly progressively worked on the four reading levels (literal, inferential, critical, and purposeful). As a general conclusion, it was evidenced that the use and implementation of the platform Ta-tum allowed the advancement and improvement of the reading process in eighth grade students.
