The investigation tries to be a contribution to this problem focusing on the victimizer deprived of freedom; proposing a study from the perspective of criminal psychology, seeking to understand and analyze the cognitive representations of the subjects who carry out sexual assaults in children under the age of fourteen. The study starts from the documentary review, which aims to disseminate the information found and systematized on sexual violence and the cognitive representations of the victimizers; for access to the population there is the “Instituto Nacional Penitenciario y Carcelario” (INPEC). On another note, a qualitative methodology is used through the semi-structured interview with those deprived of liberty, which inquires about sociodemographic characteristics and cognitive representations of subjects convicted of sexual crimes with minors under the age of fourteen. It is concluded from the study that the participants comply in 58% with theoretical bases of sociodemographic data, in addition it is found that the cognitive representations in the participants coincide in 50% on sexual violence with children under fourteen years of age, complying with cognitive typologies and characteristics Theoretically proposed behaviors on sexual offenders of minors, however, do not meet the symptoms of sexual disorder. Finally, the research contributes 27% on the cognitive representations of sexual violence with children under the age of fourteen.
