Sede Bogotá., ) Ochoa Gómez, Gladys; Luengas Alarcon, Ana MilenaThe purpose of this project is to strengthen the purpose of the Environmental Education (EA) processes in the fifth grade children of the Nicolás Buenaventura School, Chorrillos, based on the understanding of the ecosystem concept, through the development of a didactic education strategy. environment focused on inquiry, as an element of connection between knowledge and reflection of anthropogenic actions that take place in a framework of global reality, in which the human being is considered as a triggering element of processes that affect or benefit the habitat of the other beings that make up an environmental system. This study relates the gap that exists between children's conceptions and the functioning of ecosystems, as a necessary basis for understanding the environment and EE, characterized by environmental practices that are presented at an academic level that are carried out without understanding. of the importance of their execution and their correct adoption as necessary elements for the development of a sustainable environmental culture. For which a qualitative investigation focused on action research is developed that takes into account the content analysis of the students' previous ideas in relation to the concepts of ecosystem and EE, the EE practices in which teachers and teachers have participated. children and the elements determined by the PRAE for the development of EE, from which a didactic strategy supported by Inquiry-Based Learning is built. The proposal carried out shows how a training process that takes into account the initial ideas of children in the face of a specific knowledge, invites them to be protagonists of their own training by creating learning spaces other than traditional ones with a strong dialogic relationship and with a clear environmental awareness.

Sede Bogotá., ) Ochoa Gómez, Gladys; Gómez Romero, Ana DoloresThe present work describes a problema centered on the La Aurora Alta village in the municipality of La Calera, referring to the lost of the forested área near this village. The problema arises from the human disturbance present in the place, wich responds to a misuse of the slopes of the forest as places of traffic, grazing, small-scale livestock, among others. The probleem is seen from qualitative research, where the participant observation and survey and interview tools, point out the causes and allow the approach with the community ofLa Escuela rural La Aurora alta, resulting in an intervention proposal based on the “Forest landscape renovation” that takes into account three action components: Forestry componente, training component and communication component, wich intertwinw and guide the intervention proposal, implemented with the participation of 16 children.
