Sede Bogotá., ) Ibarra Imbachi, Edith Johanna; Mosquera Muñoz, Diana Evelin; Orozco Ortiz, Andrés Eduardo; Cuervo Gamboa, Luz MarinaThe research work addresses the issue of the use of gamification, to mitigate the negative effects that the pandemic had on students' reading comprehension skills. It was presented as a the general objective was to build a pedagogical proposal based on gamification, to strengthen the reading process in third grade students of the Corazón Inmaculado de María Educational Institution, sede Olímpica, in Doncello-Caquetá. The methodological design of the research coincides with the qualitative approach, the information collection instruments selected were the data matrix, the exploratory workshop, the participant observation sheets and the semi-structured interviews, the sample consisted of students (16 boys and 16 girls) corresponding to the third grade B of the mentioned institution. The results indicated that there were serious reading comprehension problems in the students as a consequence of the virtual class period experienced during the Covid-19 pandemic. With the design of the proposal, it was demonstrated that the strategies based on gamification and the use of ICT in teaching represent an effective tool to improve students' reading comprehension levels.

The content of the work presents an organization marked by chapters, where each one shows the route to answer a question based on objectives and a direct participation work methodology in order to obtain clear and truthful information, in order to find the various symbiotic relationships between the categorical axes of the proposal, aimed at strengthening the resilience of the subject based on an activity of their liking in the educational framework capable of transforming thought and coexistence
