Sede Bogotá., ) Morales de Galvis, Dilia; Chicangana López, ArmandoFor the development of this educational intervention project (P.I.E.), it was considered to be carried out by means of a pedagogical strategy through arte Povera with the students belonging to the third grade of primary school, of the Llano Oriental School, located in the locality of Bosa, in the department of Cundinamarca. The intention is to get this group of students to take advantage of solid waste, considering that they have shown an inadequate management of this waste, thus demonstrating a lack of environmental education. This is the reason why we started with a diagnostic test, considering that, by means of this test, we can identify the knowledge about environmental care that these students have. From this, the need is created to develop an intervention entitled: RecuperArte Povera . Through this proposal, a series of activities and dynamics are carried out that awaken motivation in this group of students, obtaining as a response an interest in improving their behavior towards the care of the planet. This project was based on a qualitative approach, with action-research methodology. The data collection technique was Participant Observation, accompanied by its information collection instrument, the Field Diary. The conclusions consisted in determining that it is very important to know the context in which the students develop, in order to better understand their way of thinking and thus achieve the resolution of the central problem through a proposal appropriate to their needs.
