Sede Bogotá., ) Morales Torres, Andelfo; Morales Torres, AndelfoThe Degree Project “Design and Implementation of Photovoltaic Solar Modules To the Wing of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) of the University Foundation Los Liberators”. It contains the conceptual design of the electrical requirements of the UAV SOLVENDUS propulsion system based on photovoltaic calculations to give its functionality, from the design a photovoltaic array was generated to the determination of the necessary components and the determination of the autonomy of flight of the UAV SOLVENDUS, being the Photovoltaic Solar Systems (SSF) the appropriate technology to power the electrical driving system of the UAV SOLVENDUS, taking into account the different efficiencies of the components that they influence the use of this type of energy; as the energy absorption capacity that have panels, the accumulation capacity by the batteries forming the fundamental piece for the flight autonomy of the SOLVENDUS UAV. The results of the conceptual design, physical and methodological characterization of the implementation of SSF to UAV SOLVENDUS based on energy demand thereof, the design and dimensioning of the different propulsion systems will depend significantly on the available energy stored by the batteries; of the energy generated by the solar cells; of solar radiation where the relevant evidence. For this, a photoelectric matrix was generated to determine the behavior and flight autonomy time of UAV SOLVENDUS based on the SSF implementation. At the end, a route will be given to achieve the necessary tests and to check the proper functioning of the system designed.
