Sociocultural dynamics over time have exerted pressure on these ecosystems and generated drastic changes. The protection and conservation of natural resources from the 1990s was necessary, in addition to seeing the environment from different perspectives, including education as a source of environmental analysis and prolonging general well-being around the proper use of natural resources. . This project from the school context seeks to provide students with criteria and guidelines to identify species of fauna and flora, as well as environmental problems that affect the welfare of the identified species. In the first instance, it is necessary to recognize the previous knowledge or interests of the students regarding experiences in natural places; Following the diagnosis, we have exhibitions to publicize the inventoried species of the Torca wetland, as a first approach to it, and finally field trips will be carried out where the student, guided by the accompanying teacher, will collect in a photographic way the identification of each species. in a personal log allowing a direct contact that allows him to mention the perception of the captured species, through the lens of the experience he had in the field practice and finally identify the role of each species in the analyzed ecosystem. The environment and educational institutions must work directly in the knowledge, care, preservation and promulgation of spaces that allow the importance of wetlands in ecosystems to be valued.
