Sede Bogotá., ) Miranda Durán, Carlos Manuel; Barrera Liévano, Dayana CatherineThe objective of this research was to design a ludic-pedagogical proposal for the improvement of the literacy processes in the students of the first grade of the Rodolfo Castro Castro of Mariangola Educational Institution located in the department of Cesar, taking into account the importance that the theory attributes to this type of capabilities in the integral development of individuals. Under a qualitative methodological scheme, the research project was divided into 3 phases, the first one consisted of the design of an intervention route scheme that was based on the basic competency standards defined by the MEN, followed by the definition of an action plan based on recreational activities, and finalized with an evaluation plan for the proposed strategy. As a result of the process, it was possible to conclude that the MEN defines clear parameters regarding the literacy skills to be developed in first-grade students, and that, according to the analyzed frame of reference, the use of play is fundamental in the processes learning, especially in young students such as those taken as a study sample.
