Sede Bogotá., ) Matallana Acosta, Mirta Mildalia;; Sáchica Cepeda, Leidy CristinaThe whole theatrical process starts from a written base which we call dramaturgy; this is the art of composing, adapting and creating a whole new written play. The writing creation could be individual or collective, when we take a scene from a dramatic play on stage through Reading, we call it “Dramatic Reading” This Project PID (Disciplinary Intervention Proposal) pretends to promote Reading comprehension in 4th and 5th graders from Elementary School. It proposes dramatic Reading as a strategy to have students do their educational practices with dialogues and make them more meaningful in order to improve their Reading comprehension. Dramatic Reading was taken as a strategy to work with students through texts research of Reading plan activities, documents, tales, articles and texts of their own creation, until choosing three texts to be taken on stage; to do that, students did Reading and writing activities focused on plays and voice projection training. To evaluate Reading comprehension, students had to attend a forum related to the final dramatic Reading, making students improve speaking, Reading and communicative skills
